Pretty good food. A lot for what you pay for. We came here at lunch and they were very quick so we could get back to work. The menu is extensive and can be overwhelming, but I like that you can get a combo of almost anything. The decor is a little weird - random sports and music memorabilia on the wall in a mexican restaurant?

The service was very slow.. I asked for Sangria and got a little glass of chilled red wine no fruit or garnish. The food was mediocre at best very salty

The absolute worst Mexican food I've eaten anywhere. The "top shelf" Marguerita was a $12 disappointment. Slow service completes the package. There are FAR better choices in this town for Mexican food.

We only stopped in because it was near the sketchy hotel we had checked into. The waitress suggested a luncheon plate(her favorite) . Who knew you could order it for dinner? Anyway, it was delicious. Shrimp, chicken and steak over rice with a queso sauce. A great suggestion. Full bar, TV screens and even though it is in hotel row, filled with locals. Attentive staff, great food, beer and football! What more could you want?

I read the reviews and thought I would try it out. Very disappointed. No flavor. No spice. The hot sauce was good, but the tamales and cheese enchilada were bad.

Food great, service great, atmosphere is great, but It's just PreBottled Margarita Mix... If you're coming for the Margaritas, don't come here. Otherwise... Very good

I ate here for the first time for lunch with my mom when I came to visit. I usually eat at another Mexican restaurant in town, but I decided since it was new, I would try it. Just like most Mexican places, they drop the chips and salsa right as you sit down. I LOVE me some chips and salsa, and I have to say this salsa was more flavorful than my previous favorite. I try to eat healthy, but I just can't pass up refried beans and Mexican style rice. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. I loved every bite of it and ate WAY more than I should! But I think I found a new favorite place!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
